BNP conscription
i plead with all respectable MPs from both houses and all other parties not to support the BNP. they threaten to conscript all men between the ages of 16-21 whilst enacting their policy of "liberating" the third world states. they should not be allowed the chance to harm our people by sending them to these distant warzones. thank you, Slim

Sir Rob- 03-29-2005

Im with you slim!

PeterJS- 03-29-2005

all men between the ages of 16-21 that is not true we will conscript any men and women, we are all equal, who are not in further education or doing a useful industrial job. This will make less of are young people lazy and use to hard work they will also be fit and know how to follow rules. We will not force conscripts to go to war but it will be optional.

Sir Rob- 03-29-2005

So you want to waste billions of pounds training people that will have a option whether or not to go to war. I find that a waste. That money can go to the poor.

PeterJS- 03-29-2005

No thats not true the army will always have jobs like border control. They will be able to help in construction they can do alot more. maybe 16-21 is a bit long but we can shorten that time.

Slim- 03-29-2005

negotiations are always an option. conscription would strengthen nationality and home defence but i think the duration is too long for a young adult to stay commited to.

Sir Rob- 03-29-2005

Im in favour of 4 weeks basic training. Exculding those entering further education. That way we have a generation brought up with basic training able to defend us against attack - learning a vocational skill whilst there at it.

Slim- 03-29-2005

it would also help team building and start friendships. i want any concept of conscription to leave happy memories for the people of Britannica.

PeterJS- 03-29-2005

4 weeks is too short 2-3 years I think is good. The military offers alot from basic military to engineering it is just a form of further education that is benifiting the nation. When you see the old people on TV talking about when they was conscripted they talk of happy memories and friendships of course there is hard and tough times but that adds to the extra fun of it all. I would love for the nationalist and liberals to agree to a 2-3 year national service term.

leslie- 03-29-2005

How can you ague that you stand for freedoim and choice if you going to force people into the army

PeterJS- 03-29-2005

for Freedom for the country you should serve the nation. We will be giving you freedom so 2-3 years of protecting are women and children and are elders is not too much to ask is it?

leslie- 03-29-2005

i dont see why i should join the army when theres no threat to fight

PeterJS- 03-29-2005

It will teach you things and you would be able to fight if we was ever occupied by and enemy country.

Slim- 03-30-2005

perhaps it would be better to reveiw a two-three week introductionary conscription to start a general education of soldiering. this should be in the form of how to pitch a tent, how to make a fire, camoflage and other guerilla techniques for men fighting in the countryside in the event of an invading army entering the cities. after that the men should have a choice of going back to regular work and helping the commercial needs of the nation or the proposed two year conscription which can teach the handling of arms and how to assist regular units. after this service the men will receive a certificate that will aid them in future careers and will show that they are dedicated to their country. however i still have my doubts about the cost of all this mobilisation. perhaps another job for the proposed "dormant" regiments who will do public works can teach the conscripts. i would plead for all shadow ministers of war to join this debate as Carlosse seems incapable of responding to the needs of his own military. show that you are good ministers by voicing your opinions thank you.

PeterJS- 03-30-2005

That sounds like a good preposal. I think we should put it to the vote and see if people want the straight 2-3 year National service or the 2-3 week and the optional extended national service. But we need to keep are people employed we can not let them leave school aqnd live of dole and hang about the streets we need them to work.
